Regional legislatures are often called 'regional assemblies' or 'regional councils' and are the next level of government below the national level.
The constituencies are the areas that the members of the legislatures represent. They are described by electoral boundary files. Please tell us about these electoral boundary files.
Please be careful not to submit polling districts. Polling districts are the areas which define the catchment of a polling station and are usually smaller than the constituency. If constituencies are the same as administrative districts please record them here.
Sometimes regional legislatures are elected by proportional representation with no sub-division into electoral districts then the boundary of the region can be accepted. Larger cities, especially capital cities, sometimes have legislatures that exist at regional level. Please record them here.
